All farm closures due to inclement weather conditions will be posted on Social Media - please check our Facebook page prior to visiting the farm.

No dogs or pets allowed for the safety of our guests and animals.   No feeding of the animals allowed at the farm.

Visitors to events, camp, tours, storytime and programs may be photographed by one of our employees, volunteers or a professional photographer. If our faculty or staff judge that education or research may benefit from the use of the photographs, Northville Community Foundation/Maybury Farm may publish, not sell, for academic purposes, or use them on our website and our social media posts.

Please be aware that, to keep our animals and visitors safe, a new fencing system was installed. Educational Garden

Learn about agriculture in the Maybury Farm Garden!

Our garden is used for summer farm camp and educational tours. Campers and visitors can learn about a variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers. The garden also provides fresh snacks for our campers. Perhaps we’ll inspire a young gardener at home!

Maybury’s farm garden is continually evolving - this season, we’ll have a new garden layout and utilize new horticulture practices including crop rotation, resting places, natural integrated pest management (IPM) along with insect sanctuary spaces.

In addition to educating and providing snacks to campers, the farm is donating it's extra produce to community food banks. And remember, nothing goes to waste in our garden - anything not used for education, enjoyed by our campers or donated is a healthy and delicious treat for our animals!

Engagement opportunities could range from holding a chicken to watching a farmhand milking a goat. Engagement will be throughout the day, around the farm and not in the pasture or pens in the barn.

COST: Free - included with your $7 admission to the farm (kids under 2 are FREE)

AGE: All ages welcome!

StoryTime

Wednesdays & Thursdays, June 15 - Sept. 1, 2022

Starts at 11am

Children will have fun while learning about a unique farm topic each week through stories, songs, and sensory play. Special animal guests may also visit us at the end of StoryTime. Maybury Farm develops our story times based on the Every Child Ready to Read program which is a research-based early  literacy program, from the American Library Association. The Every Child Ready to Read program encourages parents to interact with their children using the five practices of early literacy: singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing. These five practices develop the components of early literacy, including phonological awareness, vocabulary, print awareness, letter knowledge, and background knowledge, which prepare children to learn to read and write in school.

COST: Included with your $7 admission to the farm (kids under 2 are FREE)

AGE: All ages welcome!

DATES: Weekly from June 15 to September 1 at 11am

LENGTH: 30 minutes

StoryTime takes place outdoors and so is weather dependent - please check for updates on Facebook in case of cancellation.

Plan A Party

Maybury Farm is a wonderful setting for your child's birthday party, family get-together, corporate gathering or any other group event. We offer various party/group event packages and also bonfire rental and rental of our covered pavilion.

At the farm, we offer various group admission packages along with separate fees for use of our bonfire, covered pavilion, private wagon rides and corn maze group reservations.

The wagon ride, included in the party package admission price, is pulled by our tractor along the milled trails through the forest and fields and then back to the farm. The wagon holds approximately 20-22 people, so larger groups need to allow time for multiple trips.

Please see below for more details. Please call (248) 374-0200 or email carol@mayburyfarm.org to book your package or with questions.

We look forward to hosting your group this season!
